About Dry Basement

Charitable Giving

Dry Basement  is committed to the greater Kansas City community and the world around us. Every year we donate time, money and effort to charities throughout the community and the United States.

Some of our charitable programs include:

At the Kansas City Home Show we matched patron's donations to Wayside Waifs, Inc. Wayside Waifs, is an independent, not-for-profit humane society and animal welfare organization established in 1944.  Their mission is to provide for the well-being of unwanted companion animals.

After the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, the Dry Basement family donated their time to the 9/11 Disaster Relief Fund. For an entire week, customers' checks for Dry Basement Projects were written to the 9/11 Fund, instead of Dry Basement. And, one weekend in October our employees volunteered their personal time to repair the foundation of a Kansas City Family who made their payment for the services performed to the 9/11 fund.

Each year, Dry Basement employees donate, through payroll deduction, to the United Way.

In 2006 Dry Basement made donations to "Operation Helmet" as a way to support our troops. This organization supplied badly needed helmet cushioning kits to protect soldiers from death and brain damage.

In addition Dry Basement regularly sponsors the performing arts in Kansas City.

These are just a few of the ways in which the Dry Basement Family works to help those in need.
